Dr. Jenna Davis

Chiropractor, Acupuncture Provider

Have you ever had a persistent injury that opened your eyes to a profession? If so – then you and I have something in common! Growing up I was very active and played many sports – including baseball and hockey. In one hockey game, I was hit into the boards and hurt my neck. After a few days of persistent pain, my parents took me to a chiropractor. It was this experience that opened my eyes to chiropractic care and when I learned how much chiropractors know about athletes and the human body. Most importantly this is when I learned that we perform our best when our bodies are at their healthiest.

I was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario and am happy to be back caring for and supporting our city. It’s a great opportunity to give back to a community that gave me so much growing up.

I have always been interested in the human body, science and healthcare. This is what lead me to pursue my Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Kinesiology at Queen’s University and later my Doctor of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College.

Throughout my schooling, I took additional certifications in Sports Science and Human Performance, Athletic Taping, Whole Foods Nutrition, the Advanced Foot Levelers Certification as well as Neurofunctional Acupuncture. I am now also a certified Active Release Technique provider.

In my spare time, you can find me hiking at the Trent trails with my dog Zeke. He is a St. Bernard/Newfoundland mix and yes, he is bigger than me! I also enjoy spending time on the ice playing hockey and golfing.

Which Disney character would you be and why?

I would be Moana because I love being by the water.

What’s your favourite quote?

“One Step at a Time”

If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Hayley Wickenheiser was my idol growing up, so going for dinner with her would be at the top of my list.

Something everyone does not know about you?

I love to rollerblade. You might even catch me rollerblading to the clinic if gas prices keep going up!

Something on your bucket list.

I would love to travel to Greece! And I’m planning on crossing it off my bucket list sometime in the next few years 🙂
