Joe Yuan

Registered Massage Therapist

My passion for helping people move and feel their best began at a young age. After undergoing multiple surgeries growing up, I experienced firsthand the impact that compassionate healthcare providers can have on recovery and quality of life. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a career where I could help others feel supported throughout their own health journey.

Before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, I studied kinesiology and spent several years coaching people of all ages to improve their health through movement and exercise. As a competitive rowing athlete, I also discovered how effective massage therapy can be—not only for recovering from injuries, but for improving performance, reducing stress, and helping the body function at its best.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing everyday aches and pains, training for a sport, or simply looking to feel better in your body, my goal is to create a treatment plan that is personalized to your needs and helps you move forward with confidence.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me rowing, dragon boating, swimming, hiking, camping, or planning my next travel adventure. I’m also a lifelong Blue Jays fan and enjoy learning new languages—I currently speak three and believe that language is one of the best ways to build meaningful connections with people from different backgrounds.

One quote that has always stayed with me is: “You don’t get better when you win all the time. You look at yourself when you lose.” – Jeremy Lin. It reminds me that growth comes from learning, adapting, and continuing to move forward—something I bring into both my personal life and my work with patients every day.
