Emily Tattrie
Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncturist
I believe the best healthcare starts with listening.
One of the things I love most about Traditional Chinese Medicine is that it looks beyond symptoms to understand the whole person. Rather than simply treating what’s bothering you today, my goal is to uncover the underlying patterns contributing to your concerns and create a treatment plan that helps your body heal, restore balance, and function at its best.
Creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported is incredibly important to me. Whether you’re dealing with pain, stress, anxiety, digestive concerns, hormonal changes, or simply don’t feel like yourself, I want you to leave each visit feeling cared for and confident that you’re moving in the right direction.
I have a special interest in supporting mental health, women’s health, and facial acupuncture. I love helping patients improve not only how they feel physically, but also their overall sense of well-being and confidence. My treatments often include conversations about nutrition and lifestyle because I believe that what we do outside the treatment room plays a huge role in long-term health. Food, movement, rest, and time spent in nature can all be powerful forms of medicine.
My appreciation for holistic healthcare began long before I became an acupuncturist. Growing up in a family of healthcare professionals—including a Registered Massage Therapist and Herbalist, a Chiropractor, and a future Naturopathic Doctor—I was surrounded by the belief that the body has an incredible ability to heal when given the right support. That philosophy continues to shape the way I care for my patients today.
Before studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, I worked as an esthetician, which inspired my passion for facial acupuncture. I love combining natural techniques that support both internal health and healthy, vibrant skin.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, or swimming. I also love travelling, discovering new foods and cultures, and expressing my creativity through painting.
I’m grateful to be part of your healthcare journey and look forward to helping you feel healthier, more balanced, and able to get back to doing the things you love.
