Dr. Jenna Davis
Chiropractor, Acupuncture Provider
Have you ever had a persistent injury that opened your eyes to a profession? If so, then you and I have something in common.
Growing up, I was very active and played many sports, including baseball and hockey. During one hockey game, I was hit into the boards and injured my neck. After several days of persistent pain, my parents took me to see a chiropractor. That experience opened my eyes to chiropractic care and the incredible knowledge chiropractors have of the human body. Most importantly, it showed me that our bodies perform their best when they are functioning at their healthiest.
I was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, and I am grateful to be back caring for and supporting the community that gave me so much growing up. It is incredibly rewarding to give back to the city that shaped who I am today.
My passion for the human body, science, and healthcare led me to complete a Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Kinesiology at Queen’s University, followed by my Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College.
While I enjoy helping patients of all ages stay active and pain-free, I have developed a special interest in supporting families, including prenatal, postnatal, and pediatric care. Pregnancy places unique physical demands on the body, and chiropractic care can help support comfort, mobility, and optimal function throughout each stage. I enjoy working with expectant mothers as well as providing gentle chiropractic care for infants and children to support healthy development and movement as they grow.
I am a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and have completed additional training in spinal assessment and adjusting techniques for infants and children. My goal is to provide safe, gentle, and individualized care that supports the health and well-being of both mothers and their growing families.
I continue to expand my clinical skills through additional certifications in Sports Science and Human Performance, Athletic Taping, Whole Foods Nutrition, Advanced Foot Levelers Certification, Neurofunctional Acupuncture, and Active Release Technique (ART).
When I’m not in the clinic, you can often find me hiking the Trent trails with my dog Zeke. He is a St. Bernard/Newfoundland mix and yes, he is bigger than me! I also enjoy spending time on the ice playing hockey and getting out on the golf course whenever I can.
Which Disney character would you be and why?
I would be Moana because I love being by the water.
What’s your favourite quote?
“One Step at a Time”
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Hayley Wickenheiser was my idol growing up, so going for dinner with her would be at the top of my list.
Something everyone does not know about you?
I love to rollerblade. You might even catch me rollerblading to the clinic if gas prices keep going up!
