Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncturist, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Registered Medical Herbalist
My love of learning has led me on quite an educational and professional journey. I worked as a Social Worker for many years before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. I am now a Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist and completed my Medical Herbalist training.
My training and education have shaped me into the clinician I am today – a clinician who takes a holistic approach in everything I do with all of my patients.
Now you might be wondering, why Traditional Chinese Medicine? Well for me, the way complex health conditions are usually treated has always been a sore point. Often, just the symptoms are treated, but little is done to figure out why it’s happening in the first place. Maybe you’ve felt that way too?
I decided to study Chinese Medicine because of the focus placed on finding the root cause of the health problem. I liked that this style of treatment uses both physical healing methods, like acupuncture, heat, and muscle work, as well as nutritional support to heal the body from the inside out. The symptoms are seen as a sign of something deeper going on.
Women’s health is an area of my practice that I love. Having a family of my own, I know the joy that comes from helping to support fertility and there is no better news than hearing that I have been able to help my patients grow their families.
I also enjoy treating gynecological issues and supporting mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. Facial acupuncture is another avenue that I find rewarding and it’s really fun to do – this natural therapy reduces fine lines and wrinkles and my patients truly glow with results!
I was born and raised in Newfoundland so as you could imagine, fishing for cod is a favourite pastime of mine! I love singing, playing the guitar, gardening, and making herbal medicine. I also love campfires but prefer not to camp in a tent…a nice trailer or cottage is a much better fit! My husband, Cameron, is a teacher, and I have two grown daughters, Olivia and Emily.
I’m looking forward to seeing you in the clinic and helping you address the root of your symptoms so that you can go back to feeling your best!

What is something we don’t know about you?
I do not like the feeling of feet dangling in the air…having my feet on the ground is just right, thank you.
