Sarah Nuttall

Patient Experience Coordinator

My career journey has been filled with variety, change and adventure. This journey has led me to where I am today and comes in handy in my current role of making sure that you have a fantastic experience every step of the way at Thrive Health Ptbo.

I received my Arts degree from the University of Ottawa where I became fluent in multiple languages and even briefly considered a career as a translator. I have a background in hospitality, restaurant management and have actually taken a sommelier course (and yes, I do have some great wine recs for you!).

Currently, when I’m not at Thrive, I’m working to grow my business, The Rejig Company. This is a sustainable clothing line for women and children, made from natural and/or upcycled fibres. I love to sew the day away in my sunny little apartment located right here in Peterborough!

I love to travel and plan to return to Croatia soon as my trip was cut short by the pandemic. I am a serious bookworm and make it through at least a book a week. I also enjoy backcountry camping and hiking with my family and friends.

I truly enjoy my job at Thrive Health Ptbo because of how dedicated, positive and friendly our team and patients are!

What’s your superhuman talent?
I know the lyrics to an absurd number of songs and I can remember the harmonies to pretty much every song I’ve ever learned.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a zookeeper until I learned I’d have to shovel poop, and then I wanted to be an underwater animal helper (to help animals hit by boats).

What is something unique you have learned?
I have taken a sommelier course and worked at a winery.
